The Bike: Cannondale MT 800 tandem mountain bike
The Trailer B.O.B Yak with a bag. This trailer has a custom built box made of fiberglass, but we need a little more room for this trip so we ditched it in favor of a waterproof bag.
Panniers: Ortlieb Backroller classic in yellow for the rear, Jandd for the front.
Racks: Old Man Mountain racks for the front and rear. Not cheap, but the best for our purposes.

Keen, keen, keen…I love my shoes. I have two pairs: one is the Presidio Pedal and the other is the Commuter. These are the most comfy cycling shoes I’ve ever had. In fact, I still have the Presidio’s on and I’m almost heading to bed!
Patagonia merino wool layers. They are the perfect base layer in this wild spring we’re having.
